Abstract

The present work is the result of a research that sought to feel and understand the daily school life in its power, developed through meetings and conversations with teachers who think that they make their networks of knowledge, practices and policies in their school everyday. The clipping presented in this text tells a conversation between teachers of basic education about choice of didactic book and how this instrument interferes and if (im) put in their daily practices. By questioning the way textbooks are produced and exposed to choice through conversations with teachers, we can highlight a necessary and, still invisible, interference of the practicing subjects of the school everyday on the production, elaboration, realization, circulation and consumption / use of this material in daily school life. Thus, we bet that such aspects raised by the teachers contribute to discuss the scope of practical political alternatives to combat discourses that attack in an exacerbated way the legitimacy of school space and teaching performance.
