"BETWEEN HOME AND WORK": LITERATURE CONTRIBUTIONS ON FACTORS THAT INTERFERE IN WOMEN'S CAREERS
Keywords:
Sexual division of labor, Gender regime, Teaching careerAbstract
This article sought to map the theoretical perspectives existing in scientific literature, nationally and internationally, on the factors that interfere in the teaching career of women in higher education. A search was carried out in the following indexing databases: Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), ScienceDirect and Web of Science. After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 34 articles were selected and submitted to content analysis, manually and later, complemented by the similarity analysis performed by the IraMuteQ software. As a result, it was found that the literature highlights the way in which women's lives and careers have their balance, personal satisfaction and happiness crossed by gender representations and the gender regime present in the domestic sphere and in the world from work.
