Abstract

This article analyzes the role of the Itinerant Labor Court as a tool for implementing the principle of access to justice from a broader perspective, focusing on the experience of the "itinerary school" carried out on Marajó Island by the Regional Labor Court of the 8th Region. Using a qualitative and descriptive approach, grounded in empirical data and a theoretical framework based on the notion of access to justice through rights, the article investigates the impact of the itinerant court on promoting citizenship, humanizing the judiciary, and democratizing the judicial system in vulnerable regions. The conclusion is that the initiative contributed to strengthening access to justice through rights by fostering intercultural dialogue, raising awareness among legal practitioners, and bridging the gap between the judiciary and communities geographically distant from the capital.
