Academic fairness refers to the individual assessments that students make of particular outcomes in the form of grades, established procedures, and teacher relationships. Due to the pandemic, teachers were forced to change didactic procedures for better adaptation. In this context, it is assumed that this adaptation can cause unfavorable situations that pass through the understanding of teachers, and this can interfere with some academic activities not being carried out fairly. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the perception of justice among 120 stricto sensu graduate students about the performance evaluation system and its effects on academic performance in times of Covid-19. Among the results, it can be inferred that only procedural justice affects the performance of graduate students in times of covid-19, but it was not possible to corroborate that the dimensions of distributive and interpersonal justice affect the academic performance of graduate students.
