The present work aims to understand how the Curriculum theme presents itself in educational environments deprived of liberty. In this writing, texts from authors such as Thomas S. Popkewitz and Michael Foucault will be used. With the help of Willian Lazaretti da Conceição, author of the article “School and deprivation of liberty: a dialogue under construction”, Jane Voigt and Dhuan Xavier with the work “The curriculum for the education of young people and adults in penal institutions: the perception of teachers '' and “Integral education in the socio-educational system: the curriculum as networks of discursive meanings” by Rafael de Souza, Angela Albino and Ana Cláudia Rodrigues, this writing seeks to demonstrate, through works that combine the two themes, how essential it is that the different areas of knowledge think about Curriculum, understanding that, even though it is a specific field, it is not possible to separate this theme from everyday educational practices and thinking, even if these are carried out in different perspectives and environments. Finally, the objective here is to theorize how the effects of reflecting on curricular studies were positive for carrying out research in socio-education in deprivation of liberty.
