O AGRARISMO IPESIANO NOS PROJETOS DE PAULO DE ASSIS RIBEIRO

Abstract

This article aims to address some issues relevant to the activities of consultancy offices tecnoempresarial and its servants in drafting projects for agriculture converted into public policies by State agencies in the early to mid-1960. Striking trait in Brazilian political environment pre-1964, the technical performance and consulting offices along the tecnoempresarial state executives at work for preparing and implementation of public policies aimed at the promotion of rationalization of work in agriculture, and increasing agricultural productivity, is still little discussed by scholars of the theme. We want PROBLEMATIZING the activities of consultancy offices in the elaboration of public policies for the State executives level agro, which was attended by experts in major decision-making areas within the State. Representative examples of these spaces of project design in the context of civil society in the period of the screen are the Instituto de Pesquisas e Estudos Sociais, the IPES and the technical office Paulo de Assis Ribeiro, coordinated by Paulo de Assis Ribeiro, one of the most important and influential organic intellectuals of the period.
