Abstract

This paper intends to raise questions about some elements among those whom enable the work on History from Fiction narratives, focusing in particular the construction of a routine in the literary art of storytelling. The plot thus constituted relates to a historicity regime that contributes to the sensibility appropriations done by historians from the literary subjectivities. When I was writing my PhD dissertation, I proposed a study that focused on the modernity perception in Paraíba, through three of its best-known writers and, among them, José Lins do Rego. I started with a general hypothesis: the works of these authors translated the ambiguities of social dynamics that marked the historicity regime that they took part, especially with regard to the sociability and politics relations. By some characters of this author, Rego, and adaptations of a little part of my PhD dissertation, the basis of this paper was build.
