In this paper, we have as main objectives: (i) to investigate whether, in the initial grades of elementary school of a city in the interior of the state of São Paulo, the teachers use activities that stimulate phonological awareness; (ii) reflect on the relationship between phonological awareness and literacy. For this, methodologically, we conducted a documentary research, selecting and analyzing materials and didactic activities applied by teachers in the school participating in the research.Downloads
