This proposal aims to describe the experience lived by the students participating in the Institutional Scholarship Program for Teaching Initiation (PIBID) developed at the municipal teaching institution Joaquim Canuto de Araújo - PE. The analysis carried out from the observation of students in the remote environment, from a socio-constructivist perspective, considered the context experienced by students, their acquired knowledge and experiences through interaction in the social environment in which they are inserted. It is known that there are several factors responsible for the low predisposition of students to actively participate in classes. Thus, it is necessary to consider the heterogeneity present in the school environment. With regard to teaching-learning, there was great concern about their immersion in the suggested themes that, based on new educational methods such as gamification and socio-constructivist theory, were organized with a view to effective learning on their part. Therefore, considering the applied approaches, satisfactory results were obtained due to changes in traditional pedagogical practices.
