This article addresses the issue of sexual diversity in the context of Bioethics. This research is part of a literature review on sexual and bioethical diversity and analyzes the results found in the light of the understanding of moral vulnerability. For the review, the following guide question was established: What are the main themes related to scientific production on sexual and bioethical diversity? The results indicate that although there are advances in the conception of rights and formulation of public policies for these groups, there are resistances and barricades in the implementation that can express the difficulty of society in living with the difference. Therefore, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transvestite, transsexual and intersex people may be morally weakened by a legitimation of exclusions and violence by the ethos of the majority of society, not rarely from theoretical arguments and elaborated with broad philosophical, theological, legal or scientific foundation. This is a singular expression of moral vulnerability that should be studied more carefully in future work in the various field of knowledge.
