Parte-se do pressuposto que o processo discursivo seja rico em ferramentas para decodificação de formações discursivas no discurso literário, então se objetiva observar a contribuição da Análise do Discurso Literário para a recuperação da informação de textos narrativos de ficção em unidade de informação, passando por explanações sobre a Análise do Discurso de Matriz Francesa, alguns conceitos importantes, e também qual o papel ético do profissional que o desempenha, uma vez que tem o compromisso de representar conteúdos da melhor forma para que seu usuário recupere com maior precisão, além de cumprir com outros aspectos éticos que a profissão impõe. Sabe-se que a Representação e Recuperação da Informação são processos em ambiente micro para que se chegue à Organização e Representação do Conhecimento, e esse é o universo em que a pesquisa se encaixa. As considerações finais desta pesquisa esperam ser encontradas em dissertação de mestrado ainda em desenvolvimento.
