Problematizing the function of gender in the constitution of the subject, it is by mobilizing Freud according to his interests that Judith Butler makes us think about how much the regulatory script of body-genderification processes is heterosexuality, while homosexuality is foreclosed in advance. Fundamental to the formation of the subject among his sexual choices, the process of melancholic incorporation of the Other into the Self appears here as the path through which the Self can survive the loss of certain affective ties. In this sense, we see that a large part of Butler's criticism of Freud lies in investigating not only new thresholds for psychoanalysis, but in proposing a subversion of hegemonic cultural practices and their sexual dispositions, their identities and binaries, their body-genderifications. In this article, through the Butlerian critique of gender melancholy and the foreclosure of homosexuality, we will problematize the search for the deconstruction of a marginalizing status quo, historically marked by the overvaluation of a cis-heteronormative, masculinist and white perspective that forecloses all subjects who, despite to be produced there, they do not fit into it
