In this article, we aim to analyze the academic production expressed in theses and dissertations on Curriculum in Mathematics produced from 1987 to 2012, in order to understand the configuration of this theme in the field of Brazilian Mathematics Education and which has been produced on the curriculum molded by teachers. Methodologically, it is assumed the research as the type state of the art with the use of Discursive Textual Analysis for the construction of metatexts that emerged from the reading of the selected works and how an investigation into the qualitative approach of interpretative character. The results show that there is concern in the analyzed productions in approaching the social practice of mathematics, which is prescribed in the official documents with the demands of everyday life experienced by students in order to mean the content to be taught in the classroom or in spaces no school, but that arouse learning.
