Abstract

This article demonstrates the reorganization of the socio-pedagogical work of a Study, Research and Extension Group at a public university from Rio de Janeiro to carry out its extension training activities on non-school educational practices since the social and educational phenomenon urged by COVID-19. 19. First, the article promotes the discussion, in the theoretical field of Social Pedagogy, about the organization of non-school educational practices, the use of digital technologies of communication and/or social information and the social situation imposed by the pandemic. So, when reporting the possible educational adaptations made by the extension group, it was inferred that since the socio-educational developments of COVID-19, the educational creativity necessary for the continuity of cognitive processes in educational environments. In other words, the fundamental interpersonal bonds for the educational process were maintained, through social networks, with isolated education professionals, total and/or partial, in the last two years. Finally, it is understood that the pandemic event left significant, and possibly positive, marks on educational practices. Specifically, in extension actions such as those promoted at this public university in the metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro.
