In this article, we to perform a literary analysis from the configuration of gender and sexuality dissent in the short story “Sargento Garcia” in Morangos mofados (1982) by the Caio Fernando Abreu, mobilizing the cut of body and city in the homosexual narrative. We will invest solidly in the construction of the subjective characteristics of the two central characters, Sargento Garcia and Hermes, for the potentiation of erotic encounters in the middle of the city. We will try to locate the forms of treatment between them, the architectures that give rise to the sexual desire and direct participation of a transvestite body in the narrative, that of Isadora, which marks the way these dissident masculinities are conducted among themselves as a way of sexually crossing the initiate and the beginner.
