About the Journal

Problemata – International Journal of Philosophy is a scholarly journal dedicated to the dissemination of research in Philosophy, with a focus on the problematization of fundamental questions of philosophical thought. Founded in 1998 by Edmilson Alves de Azevêdo, the journal promotes debates in the fields of philosophical anthropology, ethics, political philosophy, aesthetics, metaphysics, and history of philosophy, encouraging critical and plural approaches. The journal publishes articles, essays, reviews, translations of canonical philosophical texts, and thematic dossiers organized by guest editors. Contributions may be submitted in Portuguese, English, Spanish, Italian, and French, fostering international academic dialogue in the field of philosophy.
