This article will deal with the concepts of paradigm from the point of view of Jean Ladrière, first we will approach in a panoramic way the vision of Thomas Kuhn and his main conceptions on the subject, then we will present the thought of Ladrière, starting from a set of of ideas and questions presented by the author. We will show the points of convergence between both, as well as the divergences, especially in what concerns the history of science, which is the starting point for all Kuhnian thinking. Ladrière will show that a discontinued history can be overcome by dialectics.
