Update of REC Editorial Policies

Dear community of readers, researchers and teachers,

The Revista Espaço do Currículo (REC) informs that it has updated its editorial policies and submission requirements.

The main changes include:

Continuous publication, organized into three annual issues (every four months), with an Ahead of Print (AOP) system;
Mandatory bilingual publication, to be implemented starting with the 2027 issues: accepted manuscripts must be published in Portuguese and in a foreign language (English or Spanish);
Language editing and ABNT formatting, carried out after acceptance by reviewers indicated by the journal;
Compliance with a minimum interval of one year (12 months) between publications by the same author or co-author;
Updates to the submission, evaluation, and ethics guidelines.
