The purpose of this interview is to reflect on the importance of “Training in Work Situations”. We intend to present a management experience in the Mozambican public school describing the routine of a school manager of basic education in training in School Administration and Management. The same is inserted in the thematic axis related to curricular policies for the training / qualification of school managers. Relationships are established between training and work situations that the school manager experiences using his / her life story as material. In this way, we seek to provide an exploratory view of the theme relating training, leadership, autonomy and school management.
