Abstract

This work aims to analyze the pedagogical proposal of the Children's Educational Unit - UEI/UFRN in relation to the work developed in the daycare center in relation to the development of the oral language of babies from 4 months to 1 year and 4 months, establishing a dialogue between theory, which is based on official documents for day care and the practice carried out in the educational daily life of the UEI. In view of the valuable opportunity to think about how and in what direction to act with children, we start from the pedagogical proposal of the daycare center in relation to the development of oral language, showing how to articulate the teaching-learning process in daily practice. For this purpose, we are theoretically based on the National Curriculum References and Guidelines for Early Childhood Education, the Pedagogical Proposal of UEI/UFRN and Vygotsky (1998). The methodology used was bibliographic review, document analysis and report of experiences. We can conclude that the practice of stimulation of oral language in the nursery of UEI/UFRN is in line with the pedagogical proposal of the daycare based on the concepts explained in the proposed curriculum and that it is perceived a qualitative and considerable advance, in children, in relation to the development of orality .
