The pedagogical thinking of Paulo Freire justifies its application in the teaching of children, because,when analyzing Freire's pedagogical practice, it isperceived that it develops basically through dialogue and reflective action, teaching tools perfectly suited to Educational processes of literacyof all age groups. Therefore, the theoretical research developed here links with the practical research, in order to think about the effectiveness of this pedagogical thinkingin the infant's literacy process, using theoretical and practical elements and didactic resources that favor the approximation of the reality of the student with the teachingprocess, in a school environment whose purpose is to literate by raising awareness. For this, it is based on the premise that awareness is not a content to be taught, therefore, itis not restricted to a particular age group, but is a way of teaching, reflecting a conception of the world, individual and society.
