This essay aims to show the creation of the Mestrado Profissional em Filosofia em Rede (PROF-FILO) at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul, making a brief historical account of the work of local coordinators from its origin to the present day. Finally, the essay presents some data regarding the quantitative and qualitative impacts of the master's degree in Mato Grosso do Sul and the region.
