This article examines, in light of Jacques Rancière's political theory, particularly the concepts developed in Disagreement: Politics and Philosophy (1996), how the film Bacurau (2019), directed by Kleber Mendonça Filho and Juliano Dornelles, aesthetically articulates the notions of community belonging and resistance as a political act. It argues that the film stages a dissensual distribution of the sensible that ruptures the police logic imposed by the invaders: within it, every body has a place, a voice, and a function, and belonging is reaffirmed through memory, collective mourning, and popular culture. The community's resistance constitutes an act of political subjectivation, a disagreement that transforms phôné into logos, reconfiguring the sensible scene. The analysis focuses on three key scenes: the community museum, the assembly at Plínio's house, and the final ambush. Finally, the article connects this reading to Philosophy teaching in Basic Education, proposing the film as a pedagogical device. The article concludes that Bacurau does not merely illustrate Rancièrian theory but performs it as an aesthetic-political device of resistance.
