This article is a bibliographical study that analyzes Julio Cabrera's proposal regarding cinema as a form of thought, discussing its philosophical, ethical, and pedagogical implications. Based on the work: Cinema Thinks, it seeks to understand how cinema can be recognized as a language capable of producing and expressing philosophical thought. The study shows that cinema is not limited to illustrating concepts already formulated by traditional philosophy, but constitutes an autonomous mode of conceptual elaboration, in which images and sounds operate as mediators of ideas, affects, and reflections on the human condition. This perspective breaks with the exclusivity of writing as a means of philosophical expression and proposes an expansion of philosophy towards the totality of culture, articulating reason and sensibility, concept and aesthetic experience. In the educational field, cinema is understood as a formative instrument that can favor critical reflection and the intellectual autonomy of students, bringing philosophical thinking closer to everyday life. Thus, Cabrer's proposal broadens the horizons of contemporary philosophy and reveals cinema as a powerful language of thought, capable of uniting art and reflection, and from this perspective, new ways of teaching, learning, and experiencing the act of philosophizing can be promoted.
