This review aims to present the work "Aspects of reading in the digital age: how new technologies can affect our ability to understand text", authored by Joana Souza and published by the publisher Appris in 2020. Over four chapters she discusses with primacy the possible implications of reading in printed and digital media by natives and digital immigrants, verifying their ability to concentrate and pay attention, but not only that, it brings light to those who are interested in the issue of teaching reading and communication technologies and information about the challenges of educating children and adolescents in the digital age.
