DESDE EL ÁNGULO DEL DOCENTE

En este artículo sostengo que, para comprender qué es lo especial y distintivo de la educación, debemos abordarla desde la perspectiva del docente. Demuestro que esta propuesta va en contra de una tendencia presente en el discurso educativo que sitúa al estudiante y al aprendizaje en el centro de la atención. Explico el problema, ya que esta tendencia corre el riesgo de debilitar la importancia y la singularidad de la labor docente, además de pasar por alto el lugar único que ocupan las escuelas, los institutos y las universidades como instituciones públicas en las sociedades contemporáneas. Desde la perspectiva del docente, defiendo la enseñanza y la escuela, que, como analizo a lo largo de este artículo, son fundamentales para resistir la creciente «aprendificación» (learnification) de las prácticas, las políticas y la investigación educativas.
