Childhood, Curriculum, Fields of experienceAbstract
The work seeks to discuss the notion of fields of experience with the objective of demonstrating how this concept affects the ways of functioning of the early childhood education curriculum and the processes of childhood education engendered by them. Although in the form of an essay, the text is also elaborated from a cartographic research still in progress, based on the conversations made with teachers of public day care centers and preschools in the city of Rio de Janeiro who participate in a university extension project that addresses this theme. It points out that the idea of fields of experience allows early childhood education curriculum to design educational processes centered on the own and singular demands of the childhood; concluding that the concept of fields of experience enables early childhood education curriculum to be politically affirmed as differential ways of understanding and producing childhood education.
