About the Journal
Áltera is a biannual, continuous-flow scholarly journal published by the Postgraduate Program in Anthropology of the Universidade Federal da Paraíba. The journal aims to support national and international anthropological research and promote accessible and high-quality scientific dissemination. Áltera publishes articles in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, operates under an open-access policy, and does not charge submission or publication fees. The journal receives manuscripts on a continuous basis and is committed to ethical scholarly communication, following international guidelines such as the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment.
