Resumo

In Vietnamese history, autonomy has played a key role in the development of women's freedom. It is a central factor in assessing their gender equality in society. This study aims to clarify the process of changing women's autonomy. They are examined through detailed legal research, from the "Nguyen Dynasty Code", the foundational law of the Nguyen Dynasty, to the constitutional law in the modern period, from a philosophical perspective.
