Abstract

This text presents the articles published in the dossier "Foucault, Deleuze, and Derrida: Curriculist Studies? How We Think, Problematize, and Create Curricula with Poststructuralist (or Philosophy of Difference) Methodological and Conceptual Tools." Based on the provocation developed by Silva and Corazza (2003), in which they considered a Nietzsche as a curriculist, the dossier's objective was to group articles that sought to reflect on how Foucault, Deleuze, and Derrida have mobilized curricular thought. The ten texts comprising the dossier were produced by different researchers from various regions and universities in Brazil and Latin America and demonstrate the potential of Deleuze, Derrida, and Foucault for considering different research objects in the curricular field. Through the presentation of these texts, we hope to highlight and systematize the different contributions of the three authors who inspired the dossier, presenting possibilities for considering the processes of subjectivation, the aesthetics of existence, lines of flight, aporias, and practices of hospitality possible in curricula. Inspired by the idea of book bombs, developed by Foucault, we argue and hope that the articles presented here will function as bombs that momentarily implode hegemonic thinking and be as beautiful as fireworks, illuminating and helping us to think about increasingly powerful curricular research.
